Most of my files are .RA files but I can't get them to play on RealPlayer (on Mac) it tries to download a new file but comes up empty.
Any suggestions what else I can use to play them (or convert) them?

Re: .RA files
Hey pipeman
I experienced the same problems when I tried to play my old ra files. If they are older sounds, you should be able to play them with the old G2 version of realplayer. But you cannot have G2 and the recent version of the player installed. So converting the files might be the better solution. I did so and do recommend http://www.youconvertit.com/convertfiles.aspx
Most of my old ra recordings could be converted to mp3 this way.
Hope that helps

Re: .RA files
JetAudio <http://www.cowonamerica.com/download/> has a free player that can handle .ra files.

Re: .RA files
MediaCoder, an open source audio/video transcoder, will convert .ra to .mp3 (download at http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/dlfull.htm).
