Had a quick listen. This recording isn't bad and I was surprised that the voice activation worked so well. Usually I'm very skeptical of voice activations.

It also seems the recorder was on the bedside table or close by, rather than under the sofa. The girl seems to be breathing directly on the recorder. So not sure of the accuracy of the story and combined with how good the voice activation was, it probably was the user himself.

The same for me - but there certainly are squeaky bed fans here (and I also like such type of sounds too, though not so much as ones with talking).

As to the accuracy of the story - I was also surprised of how good voice activation worked. And now I can also agree with you concerning the position of the recorder - at least it's possible (though I had not such impression when listening for the first time).
Speaking in general, I have mentioned that - taking in account the total number of recordings posted - on sxnarod I meet the descriptions to the recordings which seem not to be truthful much more frequently than here. Do not know why - but it gives me another chance to admire the SSL community.
