New apartment, new luck ...

I have been very quiet for the last 14 months, mainly because my life as it used to be got destroyed and I am only slowly recovering now. Part of that process was a relocation to another part of the city.

Although I still have some recordings from the former flat viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6860, I will begin posting some from the new one in a new thread. Best and worst at the new flat is that my neighbors are loud. Most of the time annoying and ruthless, shouting, slamming doors, loud shoot-em-up sounds in Dolby surround at midnight, the worst techno sounds and so on. But sometimes (about once a month) they get horny and those sounds are loud too

This is the latest one I was able to catch yesterday, probably the longest one, too. More to follow.

This is a Olympus recording not from my phone, so no mic-app. And the position is much better than from their apartment door as I can record them directly from my room above theirs, only separated by a minor sound-isolated wooden floor. The sound has been amplidied a little bit already and noise-reduced moderately but I tend to be careful with editing to avoid unnatural sounds and artefacts.
It still is a through-the-wall-recording (or through-the-floor), the kind of that is real, not fake. Headphones recommended

They had the windows open recently Heard them twice, recorded them once this way. First time was on a Saturday morning, sunny and warm and I was just outside to hang out the laundry when I heard loud well-known sounds. Stopped to listen but no chance to record. Second time was in the evening when I opened my living-room window ... I caught a few seconds on my olympus.

They both are in their late twenties (I guess), he looks like a lanky pimp-kid to me (if that does make any sense), she is average to nice looking with a giggly voice and a rather "pronounced" booty. Both are kind of blonde I think but I saw him only twice and he seems to always wear a cap.

Not exactly ... we have a university (she told me she is studying), you could call the location "in the middle of GER" but it´s not exactly in the middle and although not one of the biggest major cities it is not a small one either. Students may be about 5% of the population. I doubt that you could hear them from across the street, only when they do it in the kitchen or bathroom with the window open ... I did once hear them doing it in the bathroom with the bathroom door open obviously as the sound was very clear in the stairway.
Did you ever record your neighbours from across the street? I´d be interested to listen and compare them
