and 'Home and Away', I'll tell you what many of them really think of the Aussies: I once went to a protest
somewhere in London, back in the 1990s. An Australian guy taking part in the protest was arrested,
and when one of the cops heard his accent, the cop called him a "fucking convict" - just so you know.
It's about time you guys ditched the 'queen', like Barbados will.

I think the reason this happens is because they go over there expecting it to be like 'Blighty' but with warmer
weather. Then it comes as quite a shock to them when they discover all the differences - in the way of life,
the mannerisms, the attitudes, the routines, the local culture, and the way things are done in general.
No doubt, the older Brit expats are gonna have shorter fuses, and that's when trouble can start.
