Hellooo!! I'm Alisha... been a long time on-again / off-again lurker here but finally decided to take the plunge and get active in the community.

Why?
Well... Me, my Mom & Dad, my Sister and my Brother with his Wife (phew), just moved into this new house right before christmas, which let's just say is quite ideal for some spying fun haha. Aaand I've got pretty much nothing to do during the holidays sooo... Hii

I'd love to get to know everyone and i've been trying to get a few recordings of the... umm subjects in the new house

Now it seems extra fishy. We definitely need more women on here but most of the time it ends up being a guy with a sock puppet account or just a spammer or generally fake. There are exceptions of course. And I think a lot of us may let down our guard when a woman comes. Extra scrutiny and suspicion is warranted. This a relatively small community that has luckily withstood the test of time because we're real and honest with each other and I'm a bit defensive about it. There's a big element of trust on here so when a suspicious poster or piece of audio show up I try to bring some attention to it. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope you post some good posts and real audio and stick around and help the place grow. Until then I'm wary, that's all.

Nothing I do will ever be right for someone with your mindset... even a simple justification reply was "extra fishy"

More guys around here are fake and spammy then you would admit, where does your defensive facade of protecting the community go then?
You keep saying "hope i'm wrong" and "prove yourself" and advocating for more trust but don't seem to back up your words...

People like you, are exactly the reason girls prefer to stay lurkin' instead of participating in the community, it's because of the fear of being scrutinized and reprimanded by backward thinking self-proclaimed vigilantes like yourself... who don't really give a damn about the community but rather can't tolerate a girl breaking the patriarchal order of your little world.

And if you really hope I post some good recordings and contribute, why do you feel the need to be so condescendingly vocal about it?
I've literally done nothing here but try to have fun and be myself.

My ego isn't hurt. This has nothing to do with my ego. I'm not sure why you feel the need to push the conversation there. But I assure you this has nothing to do with me. You can easily be 'right with me'. Just make good posts. I hope you do. Most of what I say is to the community and not to you. Thinking or expecting as muct says more about your ego than it does mine.

There are plenty of fake and spammy guys on here. I've called them out before. Including some posters I really enjoyed.

I don't have to back you such sayings as "hope i'm wrong" and "prove yourself". That falls on you and your actions on the board.

I totally support women posting and trying to make me a strawman and put whatever distracting arguments on me doesn't help. Break the patriarchy. I'm more than all for it. But also people making fake profiles, which I've encountered in legion on here and elsewhere don't help either. I think it's awful that men use fake profiles pretending to be women to troll, spam, or just be a sock puppet online.

I feel the need to be vocal about it because it's not an unusual circumstance. Plenty of people have posted pretending to be women for whatever reason. I'm not the one being toxic. I'm supporting the community by being vigilant. There have been recent women posters who I've had no question about. There are recent male posters who I question. I feel the need to be vocal because I like this place. Your overly defensive replies do nothing to quell my suspicion.

Post away, by all means. I'm no threat. I have no say in it. I'd love nothing than for more people, men, women, straight, bi, gay, lesbian, non-binary etc to post. This just triggers a lot of alarms.

Everybody should have the right to be considered a real and honest member unless there's concrete evidence suggesting the contrary. Plenty of people would have been scared away if they had been greeted with suspicion, and if simply stating you're a woman is enough to justify wariness, then that means we're still far from (as you put it) "breaking the patriarchy".

I see what you're saying but I disagree. It's not just "simply stating you're a woman". It's the over the top 'acting' of the posts. It's not just coming in and being real and saying "hey everyone, love this site, I'm into it too..."etc. it's the strange backstory and affectation. I don't disbelieve every woman who shows up. I have no doubts about say, SexyNeon. I also have doubts about some male posters and I've voiced my concern then too.

I've been on too many sites over the years where a post like this comes along and has been just fake. And I'm just voicing my opinion. Time will tell.
