If only I had a digital sound recorder 25 years ago (which is when all this happened).

Edit: I forgot to mention that they were no older than late twenties.

Oh, and I'll tell you a funny story from that same corridor in that student block...

I had just returned to the block after a night out with this friend of mine, and I went to use the toilets close to my friend's
room. I passed a couple kissing very passionately in that corridor, very close to the men's toilets' entrance. I had no idea
who they were because my room was on another floor, and I hardly knew anyone in this part of the block. Anyway, while I'm
in the cubicle taking a piss, I heard a guy come right up to the (closed) cubicle door and call a name twice (not my name),
sounding half-drunk, then he said, "You saw nothing!" - as if to warn me (i.e. the person he thought I was) - before he
walked out and disappeared. So, he must've mistook me for some other guy he knew and thought I was that person the
moment I passed him while he was so engrossed snogging this girl. Obviously, at least one of them was cheating (most
probably the guy), and he was afraid that someone would find out.

The important sound is much clearer now and hopefully comes close to your actual ear-witness experience at that time.
Removed background and noise artefacts, which allowed me to enhance the sound as well.
