The NEW Podcast - Announcement and Request

I planned to finish the first episode of the "new" Sexsoundlovers Podcast tonight but listening to all the great new sounds took my time.
Nevertheless I am going to tell you about the idea of it all.

Also, it appears that the podcasts are working to bring new people to the site. It might be your best advertising out there right now. While re-releasing the old podcasts will help for a bit -- I think even better would be getting something out there every month or so in a new podcast would be even better.

You don't even have to put all the normal work into it with your comments (although, that'd be great, of course!) If you are pressed for time, maybe just pick any recent submission and convert it to be the podcast -- even if there is no editing or additional content added to it. Just so it continues to be seen as an active podcast.

Actually that proposal sums it up. Something like this has been on my mind for some time but as often I needed a kick in the ass to get it started. Thanks John!

On the one hand there won't be much talking - just some "Natural Voices" that hopefully do a better job than me on the pronouncition side (I don't like to hear me talking). On the other hand, I'd will take some new additions (more or less randomly picked) and combine them to an episode.

If you absolutely do not want your sound to be published as part of the Sexsoundlovers Podcast, please state when uploading.

Is there any interest in some fillers for between sounds on the podcast? I was thinking of a few 5-10 second promotional jingles, they could be used for intros or between sounds where there's no backstory. Just a few variations of what we like and where to find us. I could probably put together something fairly pro sounding and fairly adult in content without being too over the top if anyone thinks this would help?

Definitely yes Sc0tt. I have spent some time last nite searching for and editing of jingles but the result does not sound really professional I'm afraid. No need to hurry as I don't fear to use my results for the first new episode (I rate it experimental as I need to get back into podcasting). But if I could use your production for the coming ones, that would be great.

Great work, Yeppie! I think it will bring new people to the site on a regular basis if it continues.

One thing that I would suggest... Put "yeppie.org" somewhere in the title. In the old version, it was there. But, the new version just has "Sexsoundlovers" as the title. So, people that get the podcast might not be as reminded about the web site. I would put it right in the title itself, so that it is always seen (i.e. maybe title it "Sexsoundlovers - from yeppie.org" or something).

And, same with the actual podcasts themselves. Instead of "Episode 11", I would recommend that you name it "Episode 11 - Sexsoundlovers - from yeppie.org" (or whatever matches the podcast over title that you decide on as long as it has yeppie.org in it somewhere).

I have changed the episodes' titles, not (yet) the podcast title but yeppie.org will be mentioned in all podcasts' spoken introductory text.
I hope you won`t charge me for your advice one day. Being a consultant myself I know how expensive that can be.

Finally the famous Sexsoundlovers Podcast as heard on yeppie.org is back online!

The last missing part of the Community has been reinstalled today. No new episodes so far but this should only be a matter of time.

It took a while to decide whether the podcast should reside here or at the old location over at yeppie.org. The decision was finally made to have it at both sites. The files are hosted on yeppie's site, the podcast at sexsoundlovers.cc links to them. Yeppie.org does not have that much traffic since the Community moved away so there is some traffic in reserve which sexsoundlovers.cc would have to pay for. Additionally, everybody who subscribed to this podcast before has the previous feed bookmarked.
