I rented an airbnb flat for the first time and went sneaking in the staircases during the nights. I wasn't happy that the guys next door stayed up late playing music that echoed to the other floors. But then I found that my key unlocked a steel door in the basement and there's a corridor that connects to two other staircases with less noisy residents. One night I heard a couple going at it on the top floor but I was a bit late to the action and only heard the last minutes of their session.
