Hi there, I'm visiting a hotel in a foreign country and did a research about their CCCTV-Policy it says, that their "Common Areas" are being observed. Do you think it includes the corridors to the rooms or just the places, where people stay?

A "common area" in a hotel would mean any of the following:

* immediately inside and outside the front entrance, and the car park (if a hotel has one)

* any area where payments are taken, i.e. the reception, bar, cafe, restaurant (and the seating areas)

* a lift lobby

* the main corridors (where the rooms are) in some hotels; the cameras are usually positioned at the end of
a corridor so that the entire corridor visible, but smaller corridors leading off the main ones may not be
covered by CCTV

How and where would you place this (Mini-Atto) device in a corridor?
