Hey Tofboy,
I have moved this thread (and your previous one) to the members section as you obviously recorded your wife/girlfriend in love with you ;-)
But sadly I can't listen to these sounds - when I unzip the attachment I get one 7z file and two zipx files. The 7z file contains both the zipx files again. Most pack software can't open zipx files so it would be great if you could re-upload another version (zip or 7z).
Thanks!

Hey Futheas...
Great to meet you
you do right to move the post. I was afraid about the difficulty to open it. this happens only because I use the 7zip and then Winzip in high compress and am not so experiment with it. the complete session in nearly one hour long and up to 20mb.
will do my best to short it and repost.
Huge thanks for your job reopening our forum

Hey tofboy, thanks for making the effort to post the file. No worries about the compression problem, just repost when you can. By the way, if the files you are posting are in mp3 or some other highly compressed format there is really no point in running them through winzip or other archiving programs, you are not going to gain that much space. The things just cannot be compressed much more than they already are, so just put them up as is. If you need help splitting the files up I for one would be glad to help you with this, it is pretty easy if you have the right programs.

Best regards,

The Audioman

Tofboy,
thanks for your reply!
As Audioman said, it's no big deal to split the files (using 7zip for example). If you have one file of 20mb, splitting it into two 10mb pieces would be ok for uploading.

Just to note it, something seems to be wrong with these files even if you DO have the latest WinZip and DO support ZipX files. As was said above, the zip posted (Ma musique.zip) contains three files:

14-07 pipe et vibro.zipx
14-07 bis.zipx
Ma musique.7z

And the "Ma musique.7z" file is a 7Zip file that contains the same first two zipx files again.

The problem is that both of the zipx files are incomplete. If you try to extract them, even using the latest WinZip that supports the new ZipX format, it tells you that it is only PART of the archive and wants you to select the other files (which don't exist).

So, even with ZipX support, something went wrong when packaging these files. If you can just take the original MP3 file(s) and split them (maybe with 7Zip?), then that'd be great!
