And I will remedy that, by warning you that if you do not also participate, at your level, to encourage me, I will stop posting audios of Anaïs (and maybe of others too).
But I warn you in advance, if I do not see a number of "likes" in line with the number of downloads of the file, as was the case during the last post, I will not post anything from her on the forum.

As far as I'm concerned, thoses sentences are the best way to make sure I WON'T click on the "like" button. This is a place of freedom, where the few rules are only meant to keep the site rolling. Please don't spoil it with unneccesary threats and principles. Peace.

And how does saying "thank you" to someone, and encouraging them (but apparently I am asking you something extraordinary and indecent to ask) makes the thing "worth" and no longer "free"?

You see ... proof that people watch topics well and know how to take an interest when they need to, you just have to ask them.

Again, do you know the risks I take to get these recordings? The only thing I'm asking is that people don't go crazy to download en masse, without even caring about the person who recorded and took the risk for it.

Coming from someone like you, who takes a lot of risks and deserves a lot of thanks and applause (because I really like what you do too), it surprises me a lot.

Yes, of course, this is not about the "Like" button. I don't care if it's a "like" or a "comment". But just let me know that i don't post to nothing. Since last august, i posted around 10 audios with differents quality, and everytime it's the same circus... Just 5 persons says "thank you" and let me know what they think about the record, and the others just download and never give a feedback... why would i like to keep it up so ?

This is exactly what kind of person I chose to talk about at the beginning of this topic. And again, I'm not just talking about myself, but I would also like them to be more grateful to other people who take risks and delight us with their audios (motel, for example).

I like your recordings. I like all of the recordings people submit. It is the thing that brings us here. There was actually some debate back when the like button first came out. The forum did not want to become like facebook. If someone genuinely likes your stuff they will say so here. To be honest I can not recall ever hitting the like button. I am much more likely to be impersonal and hit the button.

Also please consider that different people find different types of recordings hot, sometimes for reasons they can not even understand. This one is quiet and has a lot noise through a lot of it. She is heating up around the 11 min mark but I am not sure how many folks are going to tune in for that long with no pillow talk to lead them in.

At any rate, don't take the like button too seriously, look at the comments you get, and most of all, look at how many people are enjoying your work, even if they are too shy to let you know it.
