Best catch for me so far

3-14-22.WAVThe room was right above me and I heard a lot of thumping. So I grabbed my usb recorder and went to look for a good setup. Some people were standing around their room, so I had to wait 10-15 mins. By the time I got by their room, they were pretty quite, but I put the recorder there anyways. Well, i'm glad I did because they were not done. Fun starts around 10-15 mark. Unfortunetly the hotel was near a highway and their room was right next to ice machine, so a lot of noise. The ice machine turns on around 30 min mark, and it becomes pretty hard to hear anything and im pretty sure all the fun was done by then. I have not listened to the whole thing and im including the full sound, if someone else wants to go through it and maybe find something else. If anyone knows how to clean it up, that would be awesome too! Enjoy.+

Good effort and nice catch. You did the right thing going to their floor. But it sounds like the recorder is removed from their door a bit?

I remember I had the issue with ice machines too when I stayed in Rome for 3 nights. They made that much noise that I actually pulled the plug out to silence them! Lol. Sadly I still didn't capture anything on that trip simply because there was no action at all, despite my efforts...

There was a hallway light right next to their room.I put it right behind that, so it was maybe 3 feet to the right of the door.

Thank you for the cap. Brave leaving your room to fetch it. Out of curiosity, were the room numbers the same on the other floor? Did they have the same number just the floor was +1?
