Jungle Glamp

This gem comes from deep within the jungles of central Puerto Rico. High up in the mountains, we stayed in an Airbnb that overlooked a beautiful lake resting between two peaks. Below us, I noticed glamping tents near the water. I also noticed some 1am lights on in one of them so I decided to take a walk. By the time I got to their tent the lights were extinguished (was hoping to record shadows ) but the sounds had just begun.

After finding their listing on Airbnb I was able to figure out the layout of the inside of the tent so I could position myself next to the head of their bed. Unfortunately the A/C unit was also right next to the head so the interference is slightly annoying when it is on. Also, in the excitement of tiptoeing next to their dark tent in the moonlight, I forgot to put my phone in airplane mode. So I wonder how much better this recording could have turned out.

Regardless, this is a treat! Allow me to take you on a late night jungle walk.

Fantastic recording! And thank you for teaching me the word "glamp", I had never heard of it. I would definitely love to glamp some day. One of my fantasies, if I were rich, is to have a fancy modern house in the country.

Thank you. That is one of my big dreams, listen to a couple in a tent only a few steps away and only a thin tent plane between them and me a few years ago I was very close but to late, I only heard him finishing
