No download possible from the file-archives

Hello,

I am registered to the file-archives since a few days, but I cannot download files from the archives, because I cannot get a connection to the file-server.
There is no problem to download files directly from the forum, but if I try a download from the archives, I do not get a connection. Sometimes there is the message, that there is no connection possible in the moment, sometimes there is a try to get a connection, but always without success.
I have checked the conctivity to the net and there is no problem.
Perhaps somebody can help me with this problem.

I just checked the files archives and downloading worked fine for me. Maybe you should try again.
Did anybody else experience any problems?

Some days ago, the server has been down for a few hours but that is the only known serverside problem during the last weeks. If it would be a server problem, the community wouldn't work either as both are located on the same server.
Kotzebue, can you give some more information like which files did you try to download, when did you access the archives?
I'm trying to help and I'm sure we'll sort that out but I don't have an idea yet about what went wrong.

thank you very much for your answers.
I have tried to download several files of the members-section (letters a, f, r, s, only for try), always between 8.30 and 9.30 p.m. in the last days and also just now (here the local time is 4.45 p.m. now).
Always came the same result: no connection possible or the system tries to get a connection for a rather long time (10 minutes and more, but without any result).
Downloads directls from the forum work without any problem.

Hi Crang,

the server has been down for 24 hours last week but the archives are up and running since then. Can you provide some details please (no connection at all, just some files that weren't available, the time / day you tried, error message you received).
