I had a wealth of recordings on my SONY ICD-BX700 voice recorder. I accidentally erased all files. There is no USB port. Is there any possible way I could retrieve the data? Trust me, everyone here would benefit. I have not used the recorder since the data loss to avoid overwrite.

Unfortunately, the software suggested is useless as it requires a USB port on the recorder. I wonder if a computer repair shop would work? And would I be taking a chance?

Only thing in addition I can think of for you is calling Sony support to see if it's possible. (You might find a local electronic store that might be able to do it.) https://www.sony.com/electronics/suppor ... es/S1F1356
