Re: A guy and his wife got excited when they overheard his sister having sex
Here's the Text from the original post:
"My sister has been having some financial difficulties in recent times, so my wife and I are letting her live in our house 100% rent-free for as long as she needs to get back on her feet. The only thing we will allow her to chip in on is groceries. She's a really sweet and kind person, and we both get along really well with her, so it's not a hassle for us to have her around; we actually like having her around. She is staying in the guest bedroom in the basement.
On Friday night, she went out on a date for the first time in 3 years and was pretty nervous but also excited about it. The date must have gone really well because the date came back here with her, and came in through a door at the back of the house that leads to the basement. This didn't bother us at all because she's allowed to have a social life, especially considering that she has been kind of lonely for a while now.
They just hung out in the basement lounge talking and watching TV for about an hour, but then the TV went off, and I heard the door of the guest bedroom close. The date must have gone really well because they ended up having sex. The moaning wasn't like obnoxiously loud and over the top, and it seemed like she was making an effort to keep it subdued and muffled, but it was definitely still audible.
I have no idea why, but I was immediately overcome with an intense and confusing excitement. I felt so awkward and weird, but that awkwardness and weirdness gave me those really intense butterflies that make your entire abdomen feel like a cement mixer, and my entire body was trembling and quivering from the excitement. It was so confusing because I knew it was awkward and weird, but that's what made it exciting in a naughty, taboo way—like just the thought that I was hearing something that I shouldn't be hearing made it so exciting. I had never experienced so many mixed emotions simultaneously; it was like my mind was being pulled in so many different directions at once that it was dizzying.
My wife had the same butterflies that I did, and she was also trembling and quivering from the excitement. She said that she also felt really excited just because of the taboo naughtiness factor of hearing something that you're not supposed to hear, especially when it's an in-law. We both started making out really passionately and she ended up riding me on the couch. It was one of the most exciting moments we have ever had together.
But in the two nights since that happened, I feel really guilty and icky for even getting turned on by that in the first place. I know that it was an automatic reaction, and I couldn't help it, but I wish I hadn't reacted that way to begin with. I wouldn't feel guilty and weird if I had just been disgusted instead. Is it normal to have reacted the way I did? My wife keeps trying to assure me that it's probably normal, and that the reaction was probably just because of how taboo and unusual the situation was. I have no attraction to my sister whatsoever, so that's part of the reason that this is such a major psychological conflict for me."
