So sorry your efforts came up empty. Hotels seem so random; you might hear nothing in a night's wandering, or you might hear your neighbor at 5am.
What are your method of finding a hotel with noise complaints of our interests?
Mainly TripAdvisor. Word search for noisy or thin walls. The one i mentioned above, there were historic complains about loud sex! Before that i filter for 4 star romantic or business hotels. I got lucky at the bologna airport hotel in italy in the summer as its where air stewardesses and pilots stay.

I am! It's really great to have a couple across the street that is a mirror of our relationship in many ways. The fact that we all have thin windows makes it fun. A young, seemingly single woman moved in next to them, and she either is going nuts from all the sex noise, or gets to spend her time enjoying it.
