This reminds me of a hotel I stayed at on the outskirts of Milan,Italy. The hotel was built in a simple one-story, rectangular manner. Right down the middle, separating the rooms, was a long hallway where the maids and kitchen staff worked. To work in that hotel, these are the sounds I imagine they would hear every night. It took me a while to figure out what was going on because I initially thought I was listening to people in the next room until it was clear there were housekeepers on the other side of my wall. It was awful because they were extremely loud. They talked to each other nonstop and were banging mops, pots, pans, and whatever else together as they worked making no effort to be quiet. Their hallway had a tile floor so the acoustics were great and, like this, I could hear sex going on all over the place but, like this, a lot of the sex sounds were being drowned out. The upside was that at midnight they all left. The downside was, most of the couples were done by then. Maybe that’s why someone said the second half of this audio is quieter. It feels like this setup is very similar to the hotel I was in since you can hear cooks hitting bells to let waitresses know “order up!”

I don’t. Sorry. Just recall it was outside of the city to the west. My options were limited as a major design conference was happening the same time I was there and the entire city was sold out of hotel rooms. I believe prostitutes were known to frequent the spot. I’d recognize it if I saw it but I don’t recall the name.
