Hi all,

First contribution to this community. I was the weekend away in 2 different hotels, the first one didnt have any luck although placed the recorded there for over 20 hours, really disappointing (first time I used the USB recorder).

The second hotel was already promising, there were a lot of couples and it was the tipical romantic "villa" in the mountain. Rooms were distributed in a strange way that was hard to decide were to record (I need to buy more recorders). So, I finally decided to place the recorder in the same corrider where my room was located. No more reason to do so than seeing a couple leave the room earlier on. She was aroung 165cms, yoga body, really nice looking. He was way bigger than her, around 185cms, gym trained. Both around 25-29 years old.

The usb recorder was placed against their wall from the corridor side, but this USB cathes all kind of noises and nothing is enjoyable with that surrounding noise, even though nothing happened during the night. The fun started in the morning, I hear them talking when they woke up for over 20 minutes.... after that, some kisses began and the first moan appeared, that's when I started to record with my phone as well. I only share the sound from my phone as is the cleanest from both recordings.

If anyone has a recommendation for USB recorder, I would appreciate it.

I use eSonic usb. The black color hides well; I try to research hotels with dark/black corridors themes; and cut small squares of 3M double face tape. Pricey, but sound quality is close to phone or handheld recorders..

Can you switch off the anoying voice activation? With my USB I have the feeling I am missing the low-volume sounds?

Interesting. I've look for that eSonic usb. If is recording the same quality as phone is worth to buy it.

The recorder is working great to record from inside a room to listen adjacents rooms to both sides. So far I recorded a few chats from other rooms, but no moans yet in that environment.
What I did catch though, is from the corridor it self, placing the recorder behind a draw which was hanging on the wall where a couple had some fun. The problem in this situation is that it caught all kind of noises from the corridor and didn't really got the nice moans from inside the room.

Yes, that's why I thought "Mr. Quicky" was a good name for the post. It literally lasted the length of the audio, just 3 minutes. No preliminary with moans, just 3 o 4 kisses and they went into it. I agree she could have more fun, or at least longer

So far my phone's recorded the cleanest moans. Will continue to record as much as possible with it while I leave the usb recorder in places where I can't stay long.

I only have the talking before from what the usb recorder could catch, and honestly is a mess with plenty of different noises which makes difficult to identify who are the couple and who other guests from other rooms talking in the corridor.

In my personal opinion not much can be enjoyable from that audio. But if you really want it, I can try to cut that part and upload.

For privacy reasons it is a good idea to cut most of the chatting out of the recording.

That is the advantage of Esonic; the switch can either be set to voice activation or continuous. I’m with you - I intensely dislike voice activation.
