Re: Cindy
Nice recordings. No idea how you could do that via her laptop without her knowing, but technology is crazy scary these days for people who know how to do it! Thanks for your efforts in any event.

Re: Cindy
I know a few girls who almost never shut down their laptop so this recording method is a realistic one. Nevertheless I give preference to the active participant assumption because that would be the more legal one.

Mabus999 - great job, and thanks for deciding to share! Are these the only two files you've managed to capture this way, or might there be more for us to look forward to?
Om4021 - nope, not necessarily bogus. On a Windows laptop this type of thing is fairly easy to set up.

I agree it doesn't have to be bogus...Take for example 'spybuddy', it runs as a background process, the user interface does not appear on the desktop unless certain keys are pressed simultaneously and the program folder and saved files have their attributes set to hidden...
It would not take much programming savvy to 'hide' a recording program.
Ray.

Re: Cindy
Very nice files. The Cindy-Pete file was good because it was not overedited, it sounded like you had to use a lot of noise reduction on the other one.
Hope you are able to put up more, but thanks for sharing either way. Yes this would be quite easy to do, in fact if you got really clever since virtually all laptops have wifi these days you could have the recording software upload the files to the cloud and then delete them so there would be no need to physically get them off of the laptop. I am not advocating anyone do this, it would be illegal as hell I'm just saying it would not be that difficult from a technical standpoint.
