Going to Edinborough next month. Any thoughts/suggestions on where to stay for some good listening opportunities?

my clearest thought is "get some recording gear just in case!"
not particularly helpful i know, but if you'd heard the scotish chick who stayed next door to me once in college you'd be travelling armed with enough devices to bug a hole hotel.
of course its wrong to generalise... they can't all sound that good surely... but the best of luck on your travels!
