If you really want to see at night what's going on. I would recommend going different route. Night vision googles, alternatively you could modify a cctv camera by connecting high power in torch/illuminator and a screen I'd it is analogue one and working in composite video mode. Like old camcorders. Checkout models from let.s say hikvision colorvu or darkfighter series. Data would make like for like and they are reasonable. But you need a battery pack 12v etc.
Using a low light camcorder and doesn't give any satisfactory results.
