Couple 1: Room 180. I did not see them and I don't know their age, sounded a bit old (??).
I think this one was my favourite - awesome sounds!

Great shots, thanks for sharing. I live in the center of the Netherlands and would love to know which hotel you were in. Was it a Van der Valk Hotel?...or another hotel? Then I'll stay there too
Van der Valk?

Not that

Van der Valk is the name of a large hotel chain in the Netherlands with many locations throughout the Netherlands

Great captures. wonder how you chased all this stuff. t is on different floors according to the room numbers and accoustic ambience.
live in the centre of The Netherlands myself. I once was in Amersfoort in such a hotel you describe. I didn't have recording equipment with me, but during the night is was very busy.

I’ve had no audio quality luck with usb recorders way too much white noise- any recommendations for a discrete but high quality audio recorder? I see plenty of large high quality recorders but to the person who said they’re better audio than an iPhone…. man…. which one?!

It's a joke, bro.
A big joke, nothing else...
You won't get anything loud and clear with a usb recorder.

USB recorders used to be quite good (hit and miss - through trial and error I found which ones were most reliable) but I dont think they're great anymore. I mustve gone through at least 80-100 or so over the years. They're not cheap either. I lost my last 2 or 3 last year - last one was when I placed it on the top of a VW campervan that had the top open but they closed it and trapped my recorder inside - sooner or later they will have found it and realised someone was recording them. Oops,,,
Another problem is that nowadays all USB recorders only start recording when they hear a sound - but they miss out on all the feint sounds so no good for our hobby.
Great effort btw. The last couple were Frisian or something, trying to hear what they're saying..
