What is the floor made of? If it's concrete, game on.

If it's a suspended wooden floor, or something with air gaps in it, then I suspect the nikei will not work. It needs solid matter to transmit the sound waves, and air gaps/pockets stop that. Ie breeze blocks are not good, solid brickwork is good
I've seen posts about moving it around to ensure where you place it is not above a air gap in the plaster etc.

Most newer American hotels are concrete floors, so that might be ideal for U.S. use.
