*UPDATE * Neighbors in SoCal - The End

10/31: My hopes of them arriving drunk from a Halloween party.. or any future dates have been dashed.
Things were so quiet I made it a point to walk past their place, and everything is gone and cleaned out. So they have moved, and without giving me the courtesy of any outgoing fireworks.. crossing my fingers for another young couple to move in...

Maybe it's Spring. Maybe it's a conversation I had with the couple downstairs where I mentioned in passing that nothing offends me - except apartment neighbors who are so stuffy and controlling, complaining about everything they really belong in their own hermitage. Long story short, I think they are finally testing the waters with me, and guess what - no letters from the landlord, noone stomping on the floor (their ceiling); no nasty notes. Last night broke the ice. I was in bed and could hear most. Didn't want to get the recorder as I thought hearing me walking would shut them down. However, when I left for work today I left my fully charged Olympus under my bed and..

(Couple is late 20's; she is short and really really cute blonde; he's taller and has a Euro-Mediterranean look. Both look good, but aren't too athletic - but fortunately for me they are exercising one way a bit more!)

I took the day off work today for a Dr. Appointment, run errands and to extend my Easter holiday from work for one more day. After my appt, I did some shopping and was about to go home when I thought why not stay out, get some coffee and read a bit. Staying out a bit paid off. She is even more delightful in this Afternoon Delight bit - with a healthy buildup. I truly love these neighbors!

So leading up to Easter, my neighbors were pretty frisky. To my disappointment they left for Friday and Saturday nights, returning Easter Sunday night. And let me tell you I was having some acute separation anxiety disorder with them gone!
Noticing they're getting quicker and quieter now - work night? Maybe these are aftershocks of the main event Saturday Night/Easter Morning?
Here's the one from tonight. This week I am recording both at night while I'm home and also during the day. Doing this for about a week to see what the benchmark is. Also, rather than posting more of the same, I will start slowing down until they get a bit bolder and hornier again - probably over the weekends?
Also learned that she is very early 20's and he's upper mid 20's. Both moved here together from NC area before the pandemic. They told me they've always lived in apartments during their single years and now together. So probably had nosy or other neighbors hostile to overhearing sexual activity. Now, I am the only neighbor with a unit sharing a thin ceiling; and they know I don't mind them one bit; last week should have proved that to them. Man, I wish I had that talk with them sooner than this - even their calmer episodes are fun to relax to. If I get super bold, I may even start buying them a bottle of champagne time to time..
