Never been to Liverpool, but this is what I would do:

Look for medium-sized (or large) hotels located in (or close to) the city centre that offer the cheapest rates (the
cheapest hotels will always have minimal numbers of hotel staff). You can do this by comparing the Friday night
rates on various websites. Hotels situated within walking distance of nightclubs and bars would be a good start.

Friday nights and Saturday nights are always the best nights to stay. Fridays are always cheaper, but Saturdays
are when hotels are normally booked to near full capacity - which is why the rates are always very high.

Friday nights are your best bet if you want to capture younger couples (like university students), but don't go until
the academic year has started, say, after mid-October.

I don’t know the Liverpool area well, but I’d suggest a Travelodge or maybe a Premier Inn.
Friday or Saturday nights.
One without A/C, more chance of hearing fucking from the outside of the building if they’re going at it with a window open.

Great but not outstanding !

This is a good hotel nearly a great one !
Check in - went smoothly but receptionist couldn’t tell if we had breakfast included but guessed we did ! Fortunately we found we did next morning

Our room 504 - luxury balcony on the top floor
Quirky quick lift brings you out on the 5th floor with no directions for the room number so you have to guess the direction ( got it wrong ) pleasant room but a few faults
No heating control other than the balcony door
Access to shower difficult unless your skinny ( I’m not !)
Tired decoration - paint missing from door frame
Small supply of shower gel not replaced by housekeeping after day 1
Noisy rooms can hear everything from adjoining rooms from making tea to loud sex !
Noisy outside but you would expect that in the centre of a large city

Restaurant - nice buffet breakfast but hard fried eggs with no option of scrambled or poached
Day 1 very fresh croissants and pastries Day 2 very dry very cold ones ! I suspect the previous days ones kept in
fridge ,small metal teapots that spill the tea everywhere when your pour.
Afternoon tea - very pleasant however initially only given brown bread sandwiches but white ones supplied when asked
Bars - drank in both with excellent service, great cocktails and great live music

Staff - these really make this hotel always pleasant and cheerful plus super helpful they made the difference in us returning

Reception etc - nicely decorated and welcoming fantastic stair case with carpet worn out in places could do with a refresh.
Nice touch of sweets in reception

General - a pleasant Hotel with great staff in a great location if they sorted the little niggles out would be outstanding
Will definitely come again

Absolutely Disgusting

This Hotel is absolutely disgusting. Front door not working have to use a side door that is very hard to open. Rooms
very sparse, no information in rooms, blind falls down when using. No sugar or milk in rooms. Very dirty with cleaning
solutions left near main lifts. Very noisy ignorant people stay here who are up all night partying arguing playing music
and then having sex until half 3 in morning
. Reception do not answer the phones. Security just say please do nit make
any noise then the clients just start up again. Restaurant if u can call it that in main reception area. Food uneatable
dirty tables no knives forks no serviettes. I wouldn't book my dog in here. Staff do not understand English not helpful
just stand around chatting with dirty jeans and filthy trainers on. The Manager in jeans trainers and doesn't want to help.
All for £140 a night.

Noisiest hotel ever!!

I don’t know if I’m missing something or the people who have written these reviews are deaf, but this hotel is so
noisy over 2nights I probably got 5hrs sleep! You can hear everything from people coming up the lifts to them using
the bathroom and even their sexual encounters!!
We checked out at 6am just so we could get home and have some
undisturbed sleep! Never will we stay in an Ibis hotel again!
