Searching for newest posts in the Archives

I was just browsing through the brand new Archives setup, and I didn't see how to search for the very newest posts. That was probably the most important feature I used in the Archives. Can you help? Thanks!

The latest updates page wouldn´t help much at the moment as all files have been reuploaded during the last weeks and so they all are "new" for that script. I´m thinking about a way to reintegrate it though but have not succeeded yet.
