I would like ideas for recording

Hi, I recently moved into a new apartment and I have some neighbors upstairs who you can hear having sex. I tried to record with my cell phone but it records too much white noise to make it worthwhile. I would appreciate some ideas on devices or something to be able to record in better quality.

Hi, you can always try to post your "failed" records here, often it's possible to enhance the audio and still get some nice results.

Apart from that it really depends on where you are located and where the action happens. Getting somehow closer is basic I guess, depending on the window situation it might also be an option to try it from the outside (garden, street, balcony, open window etc.)
