I think I made a request for access a long time ago, but it was denied. I think the primary reason was my lack of commenting.
I'd like to request based on a few key reasons:
1) I joined in 2010, and typically check this site once or twice a month
2) I can't justify paid access, because I've listened to most everything I've wanted to along the way
3) My main interest in access is two-fold: a) my own files - sometimes I misplace my own files and have had to ask for them to be PM'd to me a couple of times. Yeppie has been great about this when it happens, and b) when I'm reading posts to old threads I often am curious about the audio even though I've listened to them already in the distant past.
4) I'm not great at commenting, on this site or others. But I don't want to be inauthentic and force this just to gain access.
5) I have quite a number of posts, and I believe many of them have been very high in quality. Over the years I've had a ton more files that don't meet my own standards and that I do not post here. I typically also do not keep these files for myself.
6) I'm pretty certain that archive access would cause me to visit more frequently. I'm terrible at file management and I think I have had good files that weren't posted here because I didn't think about it. So I believe this might increase my contributions somewhat. Who knows?
Would love to join the archive. It's not something I'm hell bent on, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I've read the FAQ's but still not entirely certain if my profile meets those requirements. Thought it was worth a try. Have a great day, either way. Definitely will support the decision either way.

Worth the try, yes
I will ask the Elders to discuss this 'special' request. I like it and I'm a little bit curious about the outcome of this discussion.
