new recorder
came in on the tail end of this. sorry for all of the extra noise, but I have a new recorder (TASCAM DR-08) and it is super sensitive. Didn't get to finish the recording as the neighbor came out of their room and gave me a funny look , so I beat it.

faint yes, but I only heard the first and last moan with my ears. I thought it was total crap before I listened to the recording...this hotel is tough as they are suits with the bedroom away from the corridor. Recorder does pickup well and has adjustable mics and I got it for $50 too.
