Hot Tubs

So there is a hot tubs resort that I go to on occasion, but never recorded before. If you're lucky, you can get a tub where the couple next to yours almost sounds like they're right there with you. The tubs are built in small cabanas that are entirely open on the front and situated where you are looking into city lights and cannot see into other tubs. Otherwise the place is VERY secure so no way to walk around and record. In this case, the tubs I wanted were down for maintenance so the tub where a young blonde couple checked into was a full 50-80 feet away. Darn. She sounded good too, but be warned; the recording is not very good and you really have to crank it. This weekend there is rain predicted and hopefully the row that I like will be open again... and hope there will be at least some young couples in the mood to frisk about ..

An "A" for effort, getting any sound from a distance of 25+m is a bonus, especially when competing with the city murmur and civil aviation. The location does, however, lend itself to future episodes, something to look forward to. Good luck, just don't stay in the tub too long or you will get that 'prune' appearance.
