my neighbours

Post by avgejim »

Ive got used to the 1am sounds through my thin walls. i had thought of adding a layer of sound insulation but i enjoy it too much to be honest. i worry that they might hear my creaking floorboards but i doubt they notice them above the tv and their activities. fingers crossed it uploads. this is my first attempt.. (think she comes at about 13 mins)

Awesome! I lived next to an active couple for a while and found I could get best quality recordings through the electrical plug box in the adjoining wall. It was great to collect a series of recordings and compare orgasms from different nights!

Looking forward to hearing more of this couple!

I converted this file at http://media.io/ because I hate using iTunes.

Nice recording and no offense....but at 13:00 she's just in pain in my opinion. There are much better sounds in minutes leading up to that. Thanks for the very nice sounds.

"Thin" walls seems to be a relative term in this case. Either your recorder doesn't pick up much noise (and thus it being louder in real life) or those walls seem pretty solid to me, since the sound is so low. There is a vast difference between having thin walls and having loud neighbours ;)

That sounds like a nice thin wall to me as the sound of your neighbour is very clear. Really like this, you lucky man!

Well it's louder than I'm used to. A lot of recordings have very loud ambient noise.

This is decent quality though. You just have to make with whats due. Thanks!

the sound is very faint, you could try to get out into the corridor and record them from the front door

Some good stuff to be heard here, even if you have to work for it a bit. Personally I enjoy that challenge.

Avgejim, am I right in thinking that this is an iPhone recording? Have you already got the mic of the iPhone making physical contact with the wall? If so, this is probably about as loud/clear as you're gonna get from the mic in that device. But if the shitty little condenser mic that iPhones have inside them caught this, it's highly likely that a better recorder would catch some proper detail.

Just something to think about, muchos thanks for sharing!

Awesome capture Jim, thanks!

@ Ryan - Not sure about pain, but from what I could gather she was definitely 'into it'. Personally I think it sounded hot but to each their own ;)
