id also like to know how or if I can get archive access without paying? I read the thing about how to, but don't get a chance to record anything to upload. huge fan of the site but I feel like im missing out on so much more

Um, try hanging on for a year or more. Get to know some other folks on the board. Offer to help with things. Post in the forums. Be an active member and than try asking in the proper place. Failing that, there is a ton of stuff in the archives. The entree fee is quite reasonable for what you get.
