Sorry if this should have been added to the other older topic on converting between audio formats, but RA files weren't discussed there. I don't like Real and would like to convert my RA files to either WAV or MP3. Does anyone know of a free tool to do this? I tried the one made by Jodix, but after 20 minutes and the conversion process being at 0% for a rather small RA file, I got discouraged with it.

There is one tool that I can recommend because I´m using it since long.
dmc Poweramp http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
It´s free for the basic functions but I think you should register the "Power Pack & mp3 license" version for 18$ to make real use of it. They have lots of codecs for converting which you can get from the Codec Central on their site, including Real Media.
Encoding from real to mp3 works but need some time with dmc too.
