I can't read the article, but will make an assumption on it's contents and the general question asked.

I got a sample pack of the "blue pills" a few months ago. I don't have ED, but was curious about the, shall we say, recreational benefits, and my doctor agreed that there was no harm in trying it out.

All I can say is....WOW. Your mileage may vary, but I found that the pill greatly reduced my recovery period as well as prolonged the actual experience.

Dang am I late to chime in here...haha. Just noticed this thread while browsing the site today. Anywho.. my 2 cents:

On a whim.. I ordered some generic 'blue pills' just for experimentation (dont really need em yet.. thankfully). They definately work!!! Instructions say to take 1/2 a pill at first.. (50mg) which i would highly recommend for the initial try. Now.. the results are not exactly like in commercials or jokes.. they do work.. but require some type of stimulation or arousal.. but once that starts.... look out..haha. Now my experience may be a bit unique.. as I was in thailand, and there was no shortage of lady companionship at the time..but whoa... talking like 1 hour straight.. and then.. after your first pop.. you're still ready to go. Tell ya.. i live by em now.. still dont need them for anything.. but they definately improve the sex life.

A few of the 'side-affects' are:
- They are much like a stimulant.. so they will raise your heartbeat/temperature and your face/ears will be flush for the duration of the pill (about 2-4 hrs)
- You loose a little stimulation due to the 'stimulant' effect..so it will take a little more to orgasm
- Pill effects will start about 20-30 min after taking it (not immediately)
- As with anything else.. your body will build up a tolerance with consistent dosages. When in thailand.. i was using regularly and towards then end would do sometimes 3-5 pills an evening.

Anywho.. again.. it is a drug and should be taken carefully (if you have any medical conditions.. i would consult a real doctor first). I get my stuff through one of the many online generic companies ... think it was like $180 for 60 100mg pills or so. Anywho.. sorry for the late advice.. but hope this helps.

Yes, true, I noticed that I broke my promise when reading Mark's reply last week. I tried to remember the details but I seem to have pushed that to the back of my mind.
What I can resume is that the experience was disappointing. Besides headaches the pills did not add anything to the enjoyment. As I suffer from raised blood pressure I did not repeat the experiment so far.
I know that I reported Dinky Digger after that weekend so maybe he still remembers what I told him ... Dinky?

Oh yah... forgot to mention the 'side affects' (whoops). A few I experienced are:

- Headaches as Yeppie mentioned
- Dehydration (big time)
- Loss of appetite (momentarily for the duration of the pills and maybe a lil after)
- Possibly decreased sexual performance / loss of interest the following day (viagra IS a drug.. so just be advised that there are 'after affects'.. i noticed usually after a vigorous romp the previous day that my body had to 'recoup' the following day (injest lots of fluids, take it easy, etc). Results may vary.. and I suppose some of it may have to do with age (not 20-something anymore..haha).

All in all.. my experiences have been favorable with viagra and i have no problem with the stuff... but definately not for everyone. While in Thailand.. i read about some "Kharma Gel" or something like that which also affects the woman's libido... tried to find some there.. but no luck.. allegedly it works, but have yet to find that out. Also, i have tried 'cialis' and did not like that stuff at all.
