This happens from time to time. You might try clearing out the cache in your browser. That worked last time for me with Chrome. For a while I was using Opera until that started doing it as well, than I cleared the cache and I was good to go. YMMV.

We haven´t seen a 502 Bad Gateway Message for quite some time now, so I guess it was about time ...

This morning, when beginning my usual ssl admin routine, a 504 (later 502) Bad Gateway message was all I could see, meaning the server needed too long to deliver the site. This was probably caused by me adding some security mods yesterday. After switching one of them off and a server reboot, everything seems to be fine again.

I will go on working on the server continously (under the hood and on the surface, too, soon) and sometimes things won´t work as planned. If you come across another Bad Gateway message, please don´t worry, it will be fixed as soon as possible.

Happened yesterday as you said. I assumed it was due to yeppie making server updates because site was back up in a few hours.

If it goes down for a lengthy period of time, then it might be a cause of concern, until then I think most sites go down during upgrades.

We have a thread in the FAQ section with a workaround for this browser-related problem. I haven´t seen this on FF for a while now.

Thanks for this thread and the one in the FAQ. It was affecting me and it was sooo annoying. Clearing the cookies worked for me while using Chrome.
