OK so Father Christmas brought me a new computer so I have started going through the recordings and transferring them over. I found this, which I never posted on here as at the time there was a lot going on in RL. That, and after hearing the file again, I still want to kill the other neighbours son and his mate.
Brief history: 9th July 2017 @ 22.50hrs*. Lucy and hubby going to bed and window open. I know there's no kids to interrupt as me and my Mrs were babysitting. Recorder set up and ten minutes later they are going for it. Literally just as they become audible my other side neighbour and mate come back in his stupid pimped up "Bananamobile" (he hand painted it - with a paint roller - dayglo yellow and that's what he calls it!) and proceeds to sit there with his mate for an hour! Drowned out the majority of Lucy & hubby, woke up the baby at ours and also caused hubby to slam the window shut. Wasn't long after that when they moved rooms. Think this was the last loud Lucy recordings I have. All the ones since I have heard (not recorded) are just sighs.
I've cut this from a longer recording and I've a sneaky suspicion that Audacity has "overclocked" the bitrate on the mp3. If anyone has problems then I'll repost the file at original quality.

OMG. I had a housemate when I was in college who had a VW minibus painted with a roller. Kind of a sky blue. That oddly enough was the start of the demise of the minivan. Long story of being penny wise and pound foolish, but I will never forget the roller paint job.
Thanks for the story and the file!

I can kind of see the idea of the VW minibus being rollered and possibly adding to their "charm". This thing started off as a dark red old shape Nissan Micra so the red still shows through (it rained whilst he painted it outside so only one coat and no prep). He's an apprentice mechanic so apparently the fashion is to lower cars and it's on the stops - the reason it's loud is the exhaust has rubbed through it's that low However it's failed it's MOT so anyone wants a Dayglo Yellowy/Red 1998 modified Nissan Micra with 195000 miles on the clock and no suspension travel...reggind wrote: 03 Jan 2018 05:08 OMG. Don't worry Lucy and family all going strong. Weather here at the moment is and has been crap, add to the fact she and hubby now sleep in a different room (triple glazing and further away from where I can hide the recorder) is mainly the reason there's been no recordings of late. The health and family issues are cleared up, sex is happening, unfortunately so is wind, rain, snow, hail and the windows are shut 99% of the time. I'm praying for a hot Spring & Summer!

Oh well the above file will probably the last we all hear of Lucy and hubby as she's just told me they are moving away as they need a bigger home
Let's see who moves in but knowing my luck it'll be a couple of coffin dodgers (for the none Brits here that's old people) where the only moaning and groaning to be heard will be them standing up!
I shall keep you all posted and keep your fingers crossed!
