While standing doorside to hear and record sexual activities taking place at hotels, one must realize there are risks, as this poor neophyte discovered when he miscalculated thinking the couple were going to continue when in fact they had finished, and the boyfriend saw the lad's shadow moving at the bottom of the door..

Haha - thanks all, but this is totally fictional. I just remembered this artwork and applied it to what can happen in our hobby!

Believe me, I am extremely risk-averse. Slightest sound and I'll pause the Olympus and bolt somewhere else.

This is also why I try my best after setting the Olympus down, to secure a concealed or camo'd USB. That way, the session can be enjoyed by me and everyone here interruption-free even if I have to flee the scene - which does happen.

Still the thought of the God Mars, porking Venus - then finding out that someone was eavesdropping outside their hotel room... I couldn't resist.

have you ever tried to hide the usb under the rug right below the door. maybe use a carpet cutting knife and tuck in the USB so that the sound from the bottom gap will travel straight to the device. That way passers by will think its just a bump in the rug as opposed to risking someone spotting a USB drive right at the bottom of the door frame.
