I was pondering how the noise reduction works and without going into a shitload of details something interesting came to me.
Next time you want to try removing noise from a file, don't just pick out a small bit of just noise for the noise sample, tag the entire file. And than run your normal noise reduction on it with that noise sample. I am surprised at how well this works, and it is quick to try.
