Advice On Thick Walls/FLoors?

I've been in my apartment for awhile, but have not been luck enough to have a neighbor with their bedroom close to my living room that gets too loud. My neighbors above me get pretty wild at times, but the floors seem to be pretty thick. I use my phone to make a good connection with a case, but not sure what else I could do? I use an amp app too, but not sure if it helps a lot. Thanks a lot!

Sometimes you have to move on. Especially if efforts to get clearer sounds violate the law. In CA, the victim has to issue a complaint, but if it gets that far, it is big trouble.

I need some information about this as well... In our old house the walls were like plasterboard or drywalls - something like that, so it was pretty easy to hear though... (kicking myself for not recording anything)

But in the new house they're like - i'm not sure what, but pretty freaking dense. So while I can hear things alright, nothing usable is recorded... just very high pitch sounds are captured (like the occasional screeching moan haha)

Please someone help!!

Use holes
1.Cooler channel
2.Cooler ducts
3.Ventilation duct
4.Under the doors
5....
These transmit sound easily

I wish I had known about the ventilation ducts before moving into our new house! Would've been perfect in the old house...

But I did take your advice on the 'under the doors' idea
Our doors have a little gap just enough for an iPhone to slip through between the hardwood floor in the room and carpeting in hallway.
Worked a charm!!
But god, it's nerve-wracking to do hahaha
